The Allée des baobabs is a group of baobab trees bordering the secondary road between Morondava and Belo-sur-Tsiribihina. It is located in western Madagascar. Its remarkable landscape attracts tourists from all over the world. Which makes it one of the most visited places in the region. Baobabs, originally 800 years ago, did not stand alone by the road. They were surrounded by several trees and plants in dense tropical forests. Over the years, the forests have been cleared for agricultural purposes, leaving only the famous baobabs.
