Welcoming at the international airport of Tana, meet and greet, then transfer to your hotel. Overnight at Chalet des Roses Hotel or La Ribaudière.



We will meet you at your hotel after breakfast with your driver and then proceed along the RN2 to the east of Tana. We will stop at Pereyras Reptile Reserve to spot reptile’s endemic of Madagascar. This is a great opportunity to get up close and personal with these amazing animals!! Possibility to go at a night walk to spot the nocturnal lemurs known as the smallest of the lemurs in the world. Overnight at Feon’ny Ala hotel or Grace Lodge.



Morning expedition to encounter the INDRI known as the world’s biggest lemurs with its almost invisible tail; we will also see other species of lemurs such as the brown lemur, bamboo lemur, wooly lemur and other animals such as chameleons, giraffe necked weevil… Visit of the private reserve of Vakona in the afternoon to watch lemurs very close. This is a best place to see them and you can even feed them with banana and stroke with your hands. Overnight at the same hotel.

National Park of Andasibe


Today, we leave Andasibe and head on to Antsirabe located 170 Km South of Tana. Antsirabe, which means a place of much salt, is famous for its thermal pools which are rich in healing properties. The town attracts many locals and tourists due to its cool climate and location. Antsirabe is also the capital of rickshaws, and THB, the local beer. Be sure to enjoy the taste of a true Malagasy beer whilst here.An option is to visit the two crater lakes of Andraikiba and Tritriva. Legend says that there were two young lovers forbidden to marry by their parents, so they threw themselves into Tritriva and drowned. Overnight at La Résidence Camelia.



After breakfast and city tour with rickshaws known locally as push push, we will drive to Ranomafana NP. 
We head to the beautiful and lush Ranomafana rainforest. The name means hot water, and relates to the natural hot water springs that you can experience here. We stop in Ambositra for lunch. This pretty little town is known as the capital of woodcarving; possibility to visit artisan markets, this is also a good place to buy souvenirs whilst you are in the capital. 
The National Park was created in 1991 in order to protect the newly discovered, unique “Bamboo lemur. 
Arrival in Ranomafana in the afternoon. Possibility to go at a night walk to spot nocturnal lemurs, chameleons & frogs. Overnight at Manja hotel.



Exploring of Ranomafana. This is the best reserve for lemurs’ encounters; no fewer than 12 species are seen in the park. 
This includes the most notable two species: the golden bamboo lemur and the greater bamboo lemur. Other mammals include the Malagasy striped civet (strictly nocturnal) and Ranomafana NP is an excellent chance of seeing it, eastern ring-tailed mongoose belongs to the endemic subfamily Galidiinae.We will also see many species of birds, chameleons; Leave Ranomafana and continue the trip along the National7; we pass through the capital of the Betsileo Tribe, Fianarantsoa, which means place of good learning. The Betsileo Tribe is well known for being invincible!!! Trek at Fianarantsoa. We then head to Ambalavao, which is a very beautiful and quaint town. Overnight at Zongo Hotel.

DAY7: Ambalavao – Andringitra

Morning visit of ANJA Park, which is a sanctuary of ring- tailed lemurs and this reserve, was created by the local village to protect the fauna in Madagascar. It’s a perfect opportunity to come close to the lemurs, take some great photos and witness how local villages can make a positive impact on protecting the environment. Then, transfer by car with your guide to Andringitra and then trek until the first campsite. And spent the first night at campsite.

DAY8: Andringitra NP

Ambalavao is the starting point of the visit of Andringitra NP known as the best trek of Madagascar and this is the 2nd highest mountain. Trek until the second highest peak Boby Madagascar. And then, straight back to the second campsite. And spent the second night at campsite.

DAY9: Andringitra to Ranohira

Today, we continue our trip till Ranohira by passing through the non man land plateaux of Horombe. Arrival at Ranohira by the end of the afternoon. Possibility to visit the natural rock windows for sunset photos. Overnight at Orchidée hotel or Isalo Ranch.


DAY10: Isalo NP

Today we will explore the natural wonders of Isalo NP which includes canyons, trekking, natural swimming pools and waterfalls. You will see 3 kinds of lemurs, such as the Ring-tailed lemur, Brown lemur and the Sifaka. Birds include the Madagascar Wagtail and Benson’s rock thrush which is endemic in Isalo NP. There are also White throated rail, Madagascar kestrel and Madagascar coucal. Overnight at the same hotel.

DAY 11: Ranohira – Tuléar – Ifaty

Continue to Tuléar after breakfast. You will pass by Ilakaka, the sapphire town. This used to be a small village before is expanded in an amazing way from 1998, since the discovery of a sapphire mine. From this point of the road, you will see the difference in habitat, which is different from Ranomafana evergreen forest, to the dryness of Isalo, and then the lush green vegetation within the massif, and finally going drier southwards. The forests around Tuléar are typical dry forests, and bushes. On the road, you will see a few baobabs as well, a different species from those seen in Morondava. Also, funerary arts seen on the local Mahafaly tombs. Arrival in Tuléar, lunch at your charge. Overnight at Bella Donna.

DAY12: Ifaty Beach

Relaxing days at Ifaty. Possible visit of the Reniala reserve known as the forest of baobab. Overnight at the same hotel.


DAY13: Ifaty – Tuléar – Tana

Transfer to the airport of Tuléar following your domestic flight schedule to fly to Tana; arrival in Tana and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at Chalet des Roses Hotel or La Ribaudière.

DAY14: International airport transfer

Before we transfer you to the international airport of Tana, we will offer a free city tour depending your time. This can be the visit of the Lemur’s Park located 23 Km West of Tana or the Queen’s Palace located at 18 Km North of Tana following the shopping time at La Route Digue on the way to the airport.
