Day 1Arrival in Antananarivo, meet and greet at the airport then transfer to your chosen luxury or Budget hotel.Here are some recommended hotels in Tana.

Day 2: Tana – Antsirabe ( 170 km 5hours)
Early next morning we will head to Antsirabe, situated 170km South of Tana. On our journey we will stop at the village of Ambatolampy, which is famous for its aluminium. We will visit an aluminium foundry there, before continuing on our journey to Antsirabe.
Antsirabe, which means a place of much salt, is famous four its thermal pools which are rich in healing properties. The town attracts many locals and tourists due to its cool climate and location. Antsirabe is also the capital of rickshaws, and THB, the local beer. Be sure to enjoy the taste of a true Malagasy beer whilst here.
An option is to visit the two crater lakes of Andraikiba and Tritriva. Legend says that there were two young lovers forbidden to marry by their parents, so they threw themselves into Tritriva and drowned.

Day 3 :Antsirabe –Miandrivazo ( 220km 5 hours)
This morning, before heading west, we have the option of visiting a famous crystal factory in Antsirabe. The drive west will lead us to the hottest town in Madagascar, Miandrivazo, our starting point of the famous river descent of Tsiribihina.
At Miandrivazo is a great market where you can purchase any last minute items you may need for our river adventure such as; hats, sunscreen or clothes. We will spend the night here before setting out on our river adventure!

Day 4 – 5:River descent
We begin our day on the river after an early breakfast at Miandrivazo, a full day casually canoeing. After an early start, you will be able to relax and immerse yourself in the surroundings. The Tsiribihina River is one of the best places to enjoy the nature, bird life, animals and to observe how the locals go about their daily activity, always happy to see visitors passing by.
Each day will be filled with watching the wonders of birdlife, lemurs, bats, swimming in fresh water pools and waterfalls. You will have the opportunity to try paddling, still the way life and transport on the river after thousands of years. We will meet fishermen who will offer fresh fish and children from the surrounding villages will follow us from time to time running on the riverbank.
Each day we will stop for lunch in beautiful spot and great, healthy meals will be cooked for you. After an afternoon on the river we will set up camp at the side of the river. You will enjoy spectacular sunsets whilst sipping on drinks and snacks, whilst another meal is prepared for you.
Campfire, songs, local stories and laughter, make this river trip an exciting and very special time in a wildly beautiful and remote setting that is so hard to find in the modern world. You will be acclaimed by the local children saying "Salama Vazaha" (hello white people) who are very happy even with so few possessions.
Day 6 : End of the river descent + trek to Antsiraraka(2hours)
This is our last day of canoeing and at mid day we arrive at Andadoany village where we have the opportunity enjoy cold drink and then continue our trip after lunch with “zebu car” for 2 hours till Antseraraka
We arrive at the remote town of Antseraraka where you will stay in a bungalow, overnight at Antseraraka in a penny pincher bungalow.
Day 7: Antsiraraka –Morondava ( 150km 6 hours )
The following morning a 4WD will pick us up and bring us to Morondava. This trip takes 5 hours, and allows us to explore the amazing and world famous Baobab Avenue. Overnight in Morondava at your chosen hotel.
