Sample Private Day Experience
Begin the day with a private guided rainforest walk at first light, when Indri families are most active and their calls resonate through the forest canopy. Walk quietly beneath towering trees as your guide interprets the complex ecosystem, pointing out sifakas moving gracefully through the canopy, vibrant orchids, and expertly camouflaged chameleons.

Return to your lodge for a relaxed lunch and time at leisure—whether enjoying the forest views, resting, or simply absorbing the atmosphere.

After sunset, set out on a private nocturnal walk, one of the highlights of the Andasibe experience. With the forest transformed after dark, discover mouse lemurs, frogs, leaf-tailed geckos, and other nocturnal species rarely seen during the day.

Note:
Andasibe–Mantadia is ideal for travelers seeking high-impact wildlife encounters with minimal physical strain, combined with knowledgeable guiding, refined lodges, and a sense of deep connection to Madagascar’s rainforest world.
