Eastern Madagascar Unveiled

Exclusive Nature, Wildlife & Living Treasures of Madagascar

From lush rainforests alive with lemur calls to surreal baobab landscapes shaped by time, Madagascar offers one of the most diverse natural environments on Earth.
This carefully curated journey reveals the island’s contrasts - combining the vibrant rainforests of the east with the striking dry forests of the west.
The eastern coast, often called the “Green East”, is a sanctuary for nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts. In Andasibe National Park, the haunting dawn calls of the Indri indri, the largest living lemur, echo through dense rainforest canopies. The region is home to an exceptional concentration of endemic species, including chameleons, frogs, rare orchids, and ancient primary forest ecosystems.
Further east, discover Ankanin’ny Nofy (The Nest of Dreams) and the Palmarium Reserve, where tranquil lagoons meet tropical forest. Night walks here offer a rare opportunity to search for the elusive aye-aye, one of Madagascar’s most mysterious nocturnal primates.
On Île Sainte-Marie, white-sand beaches and crystal-clear lagoons create a peaceful contrast to the rainforest. Between July and September, the island becomes one of the world’s most intimate locations for humpback whale encounters, as these gentle giants migrate along the coast. In western Madagascar, landscapes shift dramatically. Dry deciduous forests, deep canyons, and iconic baobabs dominate the scenery. A sunset visit to the Avenue of the Baobabs is a powerful and unforgettable moment, while Kirindy Forest Reserve offers some of the best chances to observe the fossa, Madagascar’s top predator, alongside nocturnal lemurs and unique wildlife adapted to arid environments.
From rainforest exploration to wildlife encounters and iconic landscapes, this journey is designed for travelers seeking authentic nature, expert guidance, and meaningful experiences.
