Ranomafana National Park Located in the southeast region of Madagascar, near the village of Ranomafana, Ranomafana National Park is one of the most popular parks in the country. The landscape east of the park is the most picturesque. This is thanks to its many rivers splashing the hills covered with dense forests. The park is also home to the Golden Bamboo Lemur or Golden Bamboo Lemur which is a type of lemur currently endangered. The diet of this lemur is based on bamboo shoots containing doses of cyanide. These doses of cyanide, which are fatal to other animals, have no effect on the golden bamboo lemur.
